Forgotten your device PIN or passcode?
Passkeys are unlocked by your device's own PIN, fingerprint or face, and qlaas never sees these. If you've forgotten your device PIN or passcode, recover it with the device maker: Apple (Apple Account), Google (Google Account) or Microsoft (Windows Hello).
Got a new phone or computer? Synced passkeys come back automatically when you sign in to the same iCloud Keychain or Google Password Manager account on the new device. Passkeys shown as “This device only” (for example on a hardware security key) don't sync, so use another passkey, your authenticator app or a recovery code.
